NEWBORN SESSION 1:1 MENTOR DAY
Learn all aspects of newborn photography by me (Eve) at my Mount Annan studio.
A newborn mentoring session will be a one on one day of intensive learning as I show and teach my newborn posing, including how to pose baby for digital backdrops, workflow, newborn safe handling, wrapping techniques, lighting and more.

Example schedule for the NEWBORN SESSION DAY
9am - Studio Tour - set up of my studio, items that I use  and recommend, camera settings, client and studio preparation, lighting and more
10:30am - Model arrives - my newborn wrapping and posing techniques including photographing baby in multiple props.
12 noon - Break for lunch and questions 
1pm - Family session with newborn - showcasing how I pose parents and siblings with the newborn in multiple layouts.
2:30pm -  Overview of the session, full debrief of the morning and time for questions.
4pm - Finish

As soon as deposit is made I will contact you and we can work out a date that will work for both of us for your 1:1 mentoring.
Note that I primarily shoot using a Sony Camera and Sigma 35mm lens, my lighting system is a Rotolight flash.

Equipment needed:
Camera DSLR  or mirrorless, which you should know how to operate in full manual mode
50mm or 35mm prime lens
laptop or pen and paper to take notes

EDITING MENTOR 1:1 DAY
My editing mentoring is the perfect add on to your newborn session day or can be taken on it own. We will go over all aspects or my editing process from importing and culling images in lightroom to a full edit in Photoshop using both an image taken for my digital backdrops and images edited as they were photographed.  You will learn techniques to make your editing quicker and more efficient. I use a mixture of my own presets, others and hand editing techniques.  The location is my office in Mount Annan.

9am - Office Tour - set up of my office, items that I use and recommend
9:30am - Importing newborn files, culling and editing in lightroom and photoshop
12 noon - Break for light lunch and questions 
1pm - More editing techniques including creating your own presets, batch editing, editing for digital backdrops and more
3pm -  Overview of using Pic-Time to delivery client galleries, make slideshows for social media and more.
4pm - Finish

By purchasing these workshops you, the attendee; and Eve Dewhurst, the instructor; agree to the following terms.
Mentee assures that he/she is not currently a maternity/ newborn mentor, is not conducting workshops and does not intend to use any information obtained from mentoring for future teaching or mentoring.
